Ralph Fiennes and Julia Ormand star in this controversial film set in 1650. It is a masque performed on a stage to an audience, and also to us. A grotesque woman gives birth to a beautiful child, and the event is deemed a miracle. The mystical child is then exploited by his guardian (Ormond) and the church. The guardian seduces a Bishop's son (Fiennes) and the child orders a cow to kill him with its horns. The Bishop (Philip Stone of A Clockwork Orange & The Shining) then suggests a severe punishment. The scene near the end contains an astonishing and memorable lengthy scene of her being raped by over 206 men (although it is hidden from view, but we hear her screams). There is then a scene of the child being dismembered. The cast come on stage and bow to the audience, and the audience turn around and bow to us.

What can you say about this,,,its about the most sleazy film ever made,1st off don't forget its all simulated so don't be going all save the animals on it,,still I very much doubt it'll be coming to a videostore near you soon,the only directors who come close to this in the pure exploitation stakes are Renato Polselli and Andrea Bianchi.The film starts in pure trashy 70's Italian sleaze top gear,with a woman being watched by her daughter having (I must say again thank heavens its simulated) sex with a rottweiler,she gets interrupted by her husband who ties the dog up and sets fire to the house with the dog inside,this all before the titles have finished,,move forward a bit in time,,,,and a set of mid life crises hit swingers move near said area and end up in a relationship with the daughter who's now a little bit older,,,from then on the sleaze really kicks in,,i don't wanna totally give away spoilers so I'll leave it at that,it all ends bloody which you can always be sure the Italian gaillo films will,fans of euro sleaze will i'm sure be happy with this film. In this film a Dr. Shwartz produces his "Shwartz Serum", a drug which helps patients bodies accept organ transplants. Enter our hero, Karl Schein (whose name apparently means "handsome" or "pretty"). Schein's sister was in a car wreck and needs an organ transplant. Without a suitable donor, Schein turns to Dr. Shwartz. Unfortunately, the evil Dr. Frankenstein steals the serum through a secret door, and Shwartz cannot produce more! Yes, incredibly, Shwartz has no way of reproducing his bottle of serum...apparently he didn't take notes. Shcein, a reporter, begins to investigate this and a series of deaths that involve organ stealing. Frankenstein has created a monster, named "Mosaic" after his being made of many different body parts. Frankenstein uses this serum to keep the organs in Mosaic from "exploding"! Basically, what follows is a series of sadistic rape/murders committed by Mosaic...apparently he has a random appetite for this sort of thing.

He then has sex with the dead, badly rotting corpse of a hooker he killed a week before. Extremely disturbing film, not for the faint of heart. The producer destroyed all of the negatives after the film was finished, so finding a completely uncut copy is very difficult, but this is the most complete cut availible. Due to the rarity of this film, the picture quality isn't the greatest but is still perfectly watchable, plus it's the only way to see the uncut print at this point.
