"Breaking Point" is a truly demented thriller made by Bo Arne Vibenius of "Thriller:A Cruel Picture" fame.Andreas Bellis plays a rapist murderer who runs amok.He stalks women, follows them home, then rapes and kills them.He also plays with his toy trains and suffers from sexual nightmares. It seems to me that Vibenius has taken obvious pains to create attractive art-house shot compositions, including some amazing dreamlike sequences;an achievement made all the more impressive considering the film's threadbare sets and obvious low budget.Still "Breaking Point" is a grim and bleak film that offers plenty of hard core sex and perversity.Unfortunately the action sequences near the end are poorly staged. However if you are a fan of depraved exploitation cinema give this one a look.
Psycho: The Snuff Reels-In the tradition of GUINEA PIG and LAST HOUSE ON DEAD-END STREET comes this disturbing Japanese shot on video "Film" about three guys and a woman who start off trying to shoot pornography and instead decend into the disgusting world of snuff films. Ultra gory and ultra sick, so be ready!. Please note that there are NO SUBTITLES for this film, however none exist and there is little dialogue.
After Red Room 1, the director clearly thought that he hadn't repulsed enough people or gone over the line enough. There were still boundaries to be tampered with and unchartered taboos to explore. Cue Red Room 2, a rather sick experiment in just how far cinema can go before losing all of its artistic merit and becoming purely an experiment in how thoroughly we can sicken ourselves. Unfortunately all our 'loved' characters bar one from the last installment are next to dead, so we're now presented with four fresh hopefuls. The drill is exactly the same as the last film - four contenders sit in a room and draw cards. The outcome of the draws decides who will receive a certain 'punishment' as part of the game, who will administer it, who will just watch, and who will decide what it is. The one left alive at the end of all the rounds wins the game. The punishments themselves are all the more intense and immoral than in Red Room 1, involving toothbrushes, hammers, a bowl of vomit [which looks too much like porridge] and one particular scene involving a pregnant girl which is totally over the mark. Please note that there are NO SUBTITLES for this film, however none exist and there is little dialogue.
Set in the Nazi-controlled, northern Italian state of Salo in 1944, four dignitaries round up sixteen perfect specimens of youth and take them together with guards, servants and studs to a palace near Marzabotto. In addition, there are four middle-aged women: three of whom recount arousing stories whilst the fourth accompanies on the piano. The story is largely taken up with their recounting the stories of Dante and De Sade: the Circle of Manias, the Circle of Shit and the Circle of Blood. Following this, the youths are executed whilst each libertine takes his turn as voyeur.
Sicko Jap trash about three punks who kidnap schoolgirls and gang rape them. When one tries to escape they tie her up and use her as a punching bag until she pisses herself. When she eventually dies (dropping those barbells on her probably wasn't a good idea) they drive her body out to a riverbank, drop it in a 50-gallon drum and fill it with cement. The End! Has that "based on a true story" feel to it because... it's based on a true story! In fact, one of our Japanese contacts informs us that the ringleader was recently released from prison after doing a 10-year stretch and promptly went out and tortured someone else! Optically censored and the tape had a few brief glitches but good quality otherwise. This is an extremly rare film and no subtitles for it are known to exist.
SPK is an Australian industrial band which puts their music to
autopsies and real photos of death. The grossest part of this tape is someone
brought a video camera into the morgue and well liberties have been taken with
the corpses. "Despair" mixes live performance of SPK with truly sick and bizarre
imagery involving the mutilation of dead animals on stage. On the other hand,
"Human Post Mortem" is simply a dupe from the original 1982 "Despair" tape. It's
shows two incredibly graphic autopsies accompanied by SPK's industrial music. We
see for example the mutilation of a dead cat, footage from death camps, foetal
deformities, brain operations and grotesque corpses. In the most revolting
sequence an individual manoeuvres a detached head to perform clumsy fellatio on
a penis protruding from the severed, lower extremities of a corpse. In several
ways "Despair" reminded me "The Way of Eden" by Robert Adrian Pejo-extremely
disturbing documentary about death and dissection. The music of SPK will also
give you nightmares for weeks-be sure to check out especially three of their
early albums: "Leichenschrei", "Information Overload Unit" and "Zamia Lehmanni".
