Title: Perverse Preachers, Fascist Fundamentalists and Kristian Kiddie Kooks
Year: 1991
Genre(s): Documentary, Religious
Country: USA
Language: English
Approx. Running Time: 120 Min.
Audio/Picture Quality: B

This was compiled by a science fiction fan magazine called "Zontar" which has gone out of print, and whose publisher has dropped out of sight. (Is this paranoid proof of how dangerous this video is? Your call.) It is a pure documentary, showing the most ugly examples of Christian evangelical TV from the "Jim and Tammy" years.

With these videos played straight through, it is devastating, especially because there is no commentary within the film. The first segment is of "Captain Hook, the Christian Pirate," a paraplegic victim of a motorcycle accident whose kiddie show includes the "autopsy" of a sinner and him making sinning children "walk the plank." It continues with evangelical shows from the boring ("Christian Economics," anyone?) to the hellfire-inspired. Features include the many charges right-wing churches make against popular culture - how the Dungeons & Dragons game is a secret way to worship Satan, how rock music is Satanic, how abortion will lead to "secular humanist police" machine-gunning children, and worse.

As a kind of fairness, the middle of the tape includes videos from "new age" cults, including flying saucer cultists, pitches for "miracle liquid" (yes, tap water in a fancy bottle) and a "new age comedian" who's even more unfunny than his Christian counterparts. The same manipulation, just space aliens substituted for Jesus.

Eventually, there's coverage of the scandals of the Bakkers and Jimmy Swaggart, but that's not the end. The tape ends with post-scandal evangelicals continuing to pitch (the "Take It Back Telethon" that claims it was Satan, not the law, that wrecked the Bakkers) and we sail off into the night with Captain Hook once again.

Title: Pig Fucking Movie
Year: 1974
Genre(s): Horror, Art House
Country: Belgium
Language: N/A
Approx. Running Time: 91 Min.
Directed By: Thierry Zéno

An art-house black and white film without dialogue. It's about a man who lives alone on a farm with his pigs. He falls in love with his sow, has off-screen sex with her, and later she gives birth to human/porcine hybrids. This movie is extremely rare (we can't even find any record of it being publically released) therefore the source wasn't the best quality, the movie however is still watchable. And no, this isn't a pornographic movie, weirdo.

The show, created by Eddie Murphy (who provides Stubbs' voice), follows the adventures of the Stubbs family and the others in the building, animated through a process called 'Foamation.' 4 DVDs

Title: Planet Wars AKA Brazilian Star Wars
Year: 1977
Genre(s): Foreign Rip-off
Country: Brazil
Language: No English
Approx. Running Time: 86 Min.
Directed By: Jun Fukuda
Audio/Picture Quality: B

Made in less than a month, this Star Wars rip off was released in Brazil a full 5 months before the original Star Wars hit Brazilian theaters, causing it to be a South American smash hit! Starring the Brazilian 3 Stooges, The Tramps; the
film features just about every Star Wars character you can think of; as well as some of the most embarrassingly bad sets, special effects and disco dance numbers you will ever find in a movie. The majority of the movie feels like a throw
away Sid & Marty Krofft show; complete with shot on video effects, amazingly retarded monster masks, and astoundingly stupefying musical numbers! A true must see bad movie rarity, and it’s actually much more fun to watch than any of the Star Wars movies. There aren't any subtitles but the "movie" barely has any dialogue anyway.

Title: Private Resort

Genre(s): Comedy
Country: USA
Language: English
Approx. Running Time: 102 Min.
Directed By: George Bowers
Audio/Picture Quality: B+

First of all, let's get something straight. This is in fact the best spring break comedy of the 80's. However, that means it is the best of the 4 or 5 spring break comedies that came out between 1983-1985, really the only two years of the 1980's that had spring break comedies. Therefore, I'm talking about movies like Spring Break, Where the Boys Are, Hot Resort, and Fraternity Vacation, so which also means this is pretty much just a sex comedy. Of all these, Private Resort is by far and away the best one. It follows two young guys, Johnny Depp and Rob Morrow, who are just looking to get laid and in the meantime get in trouble with hotel security, Andrew Dice Clay, and Hector Elizondo before his Chicago Hope days. Also, not to mention the beautiful girls throughout the movie, but what else do you expect? As a result, this is a truly underrated sex comedy

The handlers decide that Steven should support God and Country next. This leads to, among other things, a rock version of "Onward Christian Soldiers," and the inclusion of a Nazi salute to make it clear (to the viewer) how far the British population will be taken for love of God and Country under Steven's guidance. Steven is very plastic in his direction, shifting as his handlers point him toward new projects until he meets Vanessa Ritchie, an artist who makes him look at what's happening.
